If your new to FE games, then you don't want to make it too hard on you, it will turn you off from FE games forever.
You can play it on easy or normal with classic on, so you can understand the feel of FE, with out it being frustrating.
I think JumpMad lost his madness

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

LZ, you're a monster for making me be reminded of that.

Shut up, Meg.
I made Sheldon & Mr. Randoms back on Flipnote Hatena, now i'm a kangaroo mod that has a funko pop collection!
I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!
Whether you reset the game a bazillion times to make sure your army gets all the way through to the end of the game together in Lunatic CLA or you put it on Normal CAS and cruise on through your sixteenth playthrough, you're still seeing the same FE:A as everyone else, guys.
That's not true! The first group is seeing the absolutely worst brutal portions of the game and the second group will think they are sooooo good at the game since it's so easy.

Lyre and Lethe are worse, Meg is actually usable, later in the game on chapter 3-13, she can be used to stop enemy Laguz from jumping up the ledge to the west.
The thing is, Awakening doesn't have any battles that should take an hour+. If you get so stressed out from a game that your fear of losing(like my correction their? ) a unit impacts your choices, you really need to relax and get some fresh air. Thanks for the A; I'll put it on my fridge.
You need to relax if you don't want to lose a unit and make choices to avoid it? Isn't that how you're supposed to play the game? Especially when it seems most people who play on Classic just reset if a unit dies. But yes I know you in trying to say not to get overly stressed out about a game.
Also being that I am annoyingly anal about grammar/spelling/whatever, I really hope your "correction" was meant to be sarcastic
@TheLilk98 Seriously, leave @Canis alone. Whatever did happen to this thread that was so friendly in the beginning. People shouldn't take gaming so seriously; its only a hobby like any other after all~

Or you can actually train your other units and just wait for the Black Knight and use him as a wall for the laguz, as you're practically forced to do.

I'm playing classic too and I'm relieved to hear that I'm not the only one who has to restart chapters to figure out the correct strategy. Of course, I'm not losing the strong characters; the challenge is keeping the weakest characters alive. As soon as anyone dies, I hit L + R + Start and try again (is there an easier way to restart a chapter?).
I've never played Fire Emblem or any other SRPG before. Playing classic (and having zero tolerance for anyone dying) is forcing me to learn how to play the game. This kind of time and effort is not for everyone so they were wise to include the casual mode to broaden their audience.
I think Casual mode has the 3DS' portability in mind. Saving anytime, anywhere, plus not having to think of complicated don't-let-him-die strategies while you're walking around in the park. But if you're the kind of guy who spends 90% of his lifetime sitting at home playing video games, go for Classic.
I am playing on Casual because its the first time playing in the series and i dont want to hate the series from permanently dying and getting stressed and overcomplicating things for my self. So casual this time Classic next

Classic actually allows you to save anytime, the save will just be deleted when you restart though.

WHOA. I DIDN'T SEE THAT.
Thanks for telling me, I was gonna try classic after finishing casual on normal.
