Oh, your friends' Miis are added to your Mii Plaza? I didn't know that. Anyone with a yellow shirt wanna give us your friend code? I'm stuck in the same place as shinesprite.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Also I've only once Streetpassed twice with someone who has the new puzzle pieces and niether of them have the special middle pieces. I read that Streetpass is how you obtain those. Anyone have luck with these? I'm working on Donkey Kong Country by the way. Oh and also what regions spicifically have each puzzle, do I have to streetpass with people from other countries to start those?

Assuming it's like the iniial puzzles, then they give different ones to each region within each country. For example, each updated 3DS in the state of Missouri in the United States receives a piece from the Mario Kart 7 puzzle. I believe that the middle pieces are given away randomly among the initial free pieces, and then they have to be Streetpassed to other people.

If you don't have any friends that can change their shirt colours, just keep hiring groups of 10 heroes, and you're bound to get two in one group eventually. Also, if you are streetpassing anyone regularly, you could try leaving personal greetings requesting a yellow shirt. If all else fails, buy a 2nd 3DS to streetpass yourself with, lol.

Ha. Well, I'm not quite that despite yet. Plus, wouldn't I have to buy 2 more 3DS systems since I need two yellow shirt people??

You can make as many miis as you want on the 2nd 3DS and streetpass a different one each time to amass an army of yellow miis. I have a 2nd 3DS, and I made 3 yellow miis: if there's a find mii 3 I'll be prepared, mwa ha ha.
I believe the limit for streetpass heroes is level 7. I just say that based on a comment somebody made on another thread that mentioned something about his/her family members all being level 7.
It is. My sibling all own 3DSes and they're all level 7's despite the fact I've had nearly 900 streetpasses and only 40 people in my plaza that aren't them. (Oh, and a friend of mine has a 3DS, he maxed out at level 7 too.)
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.
