Topic: Fighting Games

I was just sitting here playing StreetFighter on my 3DS and it got me thinking they have do StreetFighter,Dead or Alive and Tekken which I have the first 2 and love not played Tekken but looking around have seen that it did not get bad reviews. So that is 3 out of the 5 big Fighting games. Where is King Of Fighters I know its not that big here in the UK but its still up there with the best. Then we come to the big one Mortal Kombat I think would be cool to see it on the 3DS the made it for the Vita so come on why no the 3DS?

Yeah, the 3DS hasn't attracted much attention from western devs, so I'm not sure if it'll get Mortal Kombat. The King of Fighters might pop up at some point, though.

There is already Super Street Fighter IV (which you have), Dead or Alive Dimensions (the best fighter on the system, IMO), Tekken Prime: 3D Edition, & Blazblue: Continuum Shift, and is getting Yatagaratsu & Smash Bros 4 in the future.

Once they're done helping Nintendo with Smash 4, I'd like for Namco Bandai to make a Soulcalibur for 3DS.

I've only played one fighting game on the 3DS and it was... eh. (Dead or Alive).

I would like Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in the 3DS, I know it seems impossible, but so did Street Fighter IV before it happened

Considering I only get to play Marvel Vs. Capcom while at a friend's house, this would be phenomenal and a first day buy for me. Sure, it's unlikely but... If it happened, I would be incredibly excited.

I personally wouldn't care for Mortal Kombat 9 on 3DS. I'd prefer to have the N64 version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy via the eShop. As for Tekken 3D Prime Edition, I want nothing more than to love the game because it's my favorite fighting series. But the lack of game modes and insane amount of lag when online renders it unplayable for me. I even went back to it after not playing for almost a year and the online is STILL horrible!

Another Dead or Alive game would be enough for me,as Dimension was brilliant.

would you guys recommend blaz blue on the 3ds? I'm somewhat interested in purchasing it.

I considered picking it up, but then I found out that there's no online multiplayer option. That was a killer for me because essentially fighting games are made for multiplayer and no one else I know has a 3DS. Watch and read a few reviews then make your decision.
