Got the game today! I really wasn't impressed at first. Firstly, they didn't have the proper strips. You have to download them onto your SD card which kind of sucks. The gameplay is rather slow which favours passing and well the graphics aren't too amazing. I did start enjoying it after about an hour though There are lots of modes to play (Be A Pro, Street, Manager Mode, etc...) and I think I'll be spending a lot of time playing it in the coming months.
My only major gripe with it is the lack of online play (N)
Does anyone else have it yet? What's your opinion?
The strips are the shirts and shorts they wear.. When you first boot up the game, they only have plain strips (without details or badges) which was absolutely shocking!
Thinking about getting this. Like the touch screen shoot feature.
It works surprisingly well once you know where the net is. I actually prefer it to shooting normally, although looking at the screen even for a split second can lose you the ball...

Sounds like the thing to use when you create a clear space for the player. Love to give it a try. Might get this. Thanks for the info.
Missing online play isn't a that big issue, is it?
It kind of is.
This, football games can get deathly boring going single player only. All you do is kick around a ball switching between your players to score a goal against a, rather crappy if I'm honest, computer AI. Whereas going up against a human player whether that be in the same room or online really expands the game and makes it far more enjoyable.
The Wii version of Fifa 12 doesn't have it either, stick with Fifa 11 if you want online mode, it's pretty much the same controls, graphics, fields and teams as 12 anyway. Not much has a changed since Fifa 11 and 12, for the Wii at least.

Or I'll leave the copy at the store.

I got it to and actually enjoy it very much. Kinda miss online play, but I can manage without. Sometimes I find defending quite hard sometimes. The AI defense sucks (positioning is way off and they don't try to take the ball that often), so I have to do all the work with one man alone. Also, still have to learn to master the dribbling.
Using the touch screen to shoot is awesome, I almost never shot with the A-button. This is also because I use the slide-pad to move and often I push forward hence shooting with the A-button makes the ball go over.
