Topic: Favorite Fire Emblem VS Best Fire Emblem

Personally my favorite Fire Emblem is The first one on the GBA. This is because of the difficulty, critical attack graphics, and the fact that it introduced me to the series. I have played all of the North American games, and the Japan only GBA game, but I think Awakening is the best. It seems like this one is the closest to perfection. What are your guys thoughts, and your favorite title?

Sacred Stones is the best one in the series. So why shouldn't it also be my favorite?

...in my pants.

I am a nostalgic person I guess. Awakening is amazing, but I cannot throw a childhood classic under the bus to second place.

Well, the only one I've played is Awakening, and like AmazingPopo_Man said, it's also the best.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

I'm playing the first GBA Fire Emblem right now and it is pretty great. I love the Sacred Stones because it introduced me to the series, but this one is great as well. The only thing is, the game is really dang hard. I get a bit frustrated sometimes by cheap deaths but its still fun nonetheless.

I remember grinding in an arena in that one for a couple hours, only to have my character die. It was so painful to have to restart a chapter over that.

meh, i really didn't like how you could only move around on a small grid in awakening (i played the demo and hated that, so i still haven't bought awakening). sacred stones was the first FE i played, and you could move about the entire environment, not just a fixed grid.

Well, for most people their favorite will also be the best one. This is because the best one is down to opinion, and usually you like the best one. :3
I love Fire Emblem: Awakening because it manages to find a perfect blend of strategy and story, taking the best parts of each previous instalment and blending them together seamlessly. It is truly a gaming masterpiece, and I doubt many more future installments will be able to top this awesome game.

I haven't played my copy of Awakening yet so my favorite and best would be radiant dawn, might change when I play Awakening though.

...wut? The movement is exactly the same in both games. As is the map, if that's what you're talking about.
