Topic: Favorite 3DS Feature?

So, if you like your 3DS, what's your favorite feature?

The 3D is a nice feature, I will admit ;D

I like feature that lets me play games...

I feel the AR is promising but underused and held back by the low camera quality.
Streetpass is a nice feature but it really adds very little to the experience, and it's not something you buy a 3DS for.
Actually having a nice menu screen with folders is a great improvement over the last Nintendo handheld console though, so I guess that's one of my favourite features excluding the very obvious 3D effect.

You can buy games from the system itself.

Prior to getting a smartphone, I used the music player a lot.

Now, it's probably nothing for me that isn't considered a game. I AM considering downloading some 3D videos for the camera app though.

The 3D and it's superb library of games, like Code of Princess, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, and don't forget about BIT. TRIP SAGA. And that's just the third-party games!

Well besides the games which is obvious I would have to say Netflix. I can't tell you how many times I have used it in bed when every one else is trying to sleep.

To be honest I play more in 2D then in 3D... but the 3D is still a good feature to have.

Same here. In fact I dont think I ever played a game in 3D.

I'm the opposite. Unless the 3d really hurts my eyes or looks awful, I always have it on. Otherwise it seems like I'm wasting a main feature on my 3ds..

In most cases, the 3D feels like a cheap gimmick. I wouldn't deduct points on a review, but it's practically useless (most ports or remakes are a prime example of useless 3D). In rare cases, it's actually used for a real purpose (Super Mario 3D Land) and some games just look better (Mighty Switch Force and Mutant Mudds). It's a mixed bag, but for the most part it's really useless.

I dunno, sure it may be useless, but it makes the games look a lot better when used correctly. For example, I thought Zelda OOT 3d looked amazing in 3d! When I go back to 2d, everything just looks flat to me..

I definitely don't think the 3D is useless. I love it. The 3D is probably my favorite feature of the 3DS.

For me the 3D effect cause me to get really bad migraines. So unless I want to be in really bad pain I leave the 3D off.
