Does anyone know where I can find a list for all the jobs I wanna make sure I know what I want to be when I go into the game or else I'll make the usual last minute bad decision.

Well I don't think you can really make a bad decision at the start. You can change your life class whenever you want once you've completed your first assignment. That way you get a feel for what each of the 12 life classes are like.

Just scroll down and on your left you'll see the Life category then pick from one of the 12 classes.
i think i will start as woodcutter, carpenter and hunter. maybe i will do a second character with magician and alchemist.
i know i could do all with one character but i think that would feel weird and over the top. we will see
You can do as many classes as you want...in fact, you'll have to do a little of each of the non-combat classes, unless you go full mage. It's less Fantasy Life and more Fantasy high school. The combat classes are the electives.

There's actually three save files. Shown during the first Treehouse livestream confirming both Multiplayer and multiple save files from Link expansion are in the game already.
