Topic: Europe Recieves Nintendo Video 13 July

Well, just got it and in my country (Poland) it works without a problem, which surprises me because we never get anything here...

Also - I did not switch my region, just dowloaded it from polish eShop and works flawlessly. Video quality is, well, without major flaws I'd say. I wonder how the service develops...

Thank gods that Nintendo doesnt have similar way of being stuck up on the country as Sony with their PSP.. Using my UK bank to purchase the games, and doing my downloads.

Can't view the UK videos ofcourse, but simple change of region and it works in Finland. Funny enough, it's the exact same videos as in UK anyway, i think.. Now if Nintendo only could get some of the 3dsware games out too!

Edit: Well, turns out Finland only gets one magic trick. Wheee.... eeh..?

Edit 2: Now there's one 3d animation too, the oscars one, received through spotpass.. The 3D effect seemed pretty good. I think this will be quite fun. Just hope they will actually be updating it more often even in Finland. I dont care if its not in finnish and if there is no subtitles.

Well, it seems to be on the Dutch eShop as well now. I got one magic trick and two animations (which one of them is Dutch!) The app seems to work well, but the first time I saw.,.. Four spaces only? Well, we need to give it some time. The video's are pretty good and it can download them even when you're playing a game. I'm not going to complain about that anymore!

This thing is a data space muncher! 2,439 blocks of Extra Data... holy flip! I'd hate to see how much space Netflix will eat up.

Well, Nintendo has already confirmed that Nintendo Video is coming here. The logo is even shown on the NA site I believe. So there is no doubt that we'll get it. Its just...when will we get it? I'm hearing late summer, which I guess means late August, early September. SIGH

Netflix is supposed to be coming SOON, so maybe we'll be getting Netflix before Nintendo Video. Kind of hope so. I have a Netflix subscription, so I'm ready to watch some Netflix on the 3DS.

I won't believe it until it is here.

I'm just kidding you guys. I don't think I have a real urge for movie and TV shows on anything at all, I'm not really into TV.
But just the idea of having it would have been great, though. I'll hope some kind of Netflix will come towards us, but I doubt it. (Atleast probably not this Summer)

in germany we have the magic trick, the oscar comic and one 3min video about a german hiphop band. it shows some of their tour. 3D looks really good

hope there will come more stuff...like stuff that interests me^^

Haha, wow. I'm wondering if that's fixed (and thus limiting the total amount of videos that can be on there at once) or the total amount of space currently munched by the two videos currently available. I'm guessing the latter, since Oscar's Oasis is 7 minutes long - given the 1:30 E3 vids are up to 300 blocks, if Nintendo Video content is encoded at a higher rate then it could easily reach that amount of space.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the content thus far. The magic trick was a bit naff (the card appeared in his pocket!!! Yeah, like he didn't just have a random 8 of diamonds in his pocket for the entire episode), but Oscar's Oasis was decently funny.

Oscar was pretty good. However, this just makes me want to be able to buy movies on a permanant basis for my 3DS. I cannot stand this time limited crap.

I agree Oscar Oasis was a bit funny.. but I actually want more decent videos to have every week, right now showing this off would be childish.

i hated the magic trick. but thats because i hate magic tricks in general. they should at least tell you how the trick was made .

The magic was more than naff, mate. I want to see a woman cut in half, optical illusions etc. not some random card he got from the other deck in his pocket.

Oscar was... kinda funny, but not great...

Even looked on the eShop and saw Shaun the Sheep... I might be wrong but who here would let a 2-6 year old hold a 3DS to watch Shaun the Sheep?

I hope the content gets better though, I don't just want naff magic tricks and some decent show no one's heard of. :/
