Finally after a long wait today eShop cards have begun appearing in EB Games stores around the country. They are available in $15 and $30 amounts with the Mario design on the $15 card and a Zelda design on the $30 card. Apparently they are like iTunes cards and have the number on the receipt unlike Nintendo Points cards which have the scratch off panel on the back. Hopefully it won't be long until I can buy them on eBay.
that's cool. lucky you. they don't have them in canada yet which is one of the reasons i haven't bought a 3DS yet. Although I'm getting the flame red one
