Topic: DSi System Transfer - How Do You Get It To Go?

Posts 1 to 20 of 22

Bobpie

Hi,
I downloaded the 3DS Transfer Tool for my DSi, but I can't find it anywhere on my system. The shop recognises that I've bought it and everything.
Any tips?

On your 3DS, Go to system setting-General settings-System Transfer.
On the DSI it should be showing up on the DSI menu...

For the DSi, I found mine unwrapped for me already in the last free slot.

Oh crap, it's not there. :‛(
What should I do? I have a NZ/AUS DSi...

did you have an open spot elsewhere in your list of games/apps, Bobpie? if you download something from the Shop, it'll go to the first open slot in the list (or, if there are no open spots available, it'll just go to the end of it like Teh-Ray mentioned).

In all honesty...I have no idea. It hasn't happened to me, and I noticed it was happening to others as well.

I guess what I'd do is try deleting the software ( if it shows up in the system memory ), and redownloading. Though, in all honesty, there's no rush. With everything under maintenance it will take forever to transfer anyway, since both systems have to connect to the internet to transfer, and if even one of them disconnects, you have to restart the whole process from step one again. If you have patience, save yourself the headache.

I had at least 20 free slots...
The first was taken, but there's nothing at the end...

Well, aside from what I've suggested, I can't say there's much to be done but wait and see if anything happens. Sorry, man, hope things'll work out for you sooner than later.

Ah, Vooks.net reported that Nintendo are aware of the problem. Apparently, it's affected a lot of people. That's reassuring,

Let's hope they solve it soon then!

i have a different problemn. i started the transfer. it was slow but worked for a while then it broke up. but two games werre transfered. but i have the feeling they havent been tranfered 100%.

the game kubos misses two game modes in the main screen
the game airrace tunnel cant be controlled. i cant move my ship. not with the analog pad but the d-pad doesnt work either.

right now i deleted kubos and redownload it on my 3DS through the e.shop.

where is the dsishop on the e-shop? do i have to manually search for the games? the only thing i see is highlighted dsiware games.

That one sounds very odd indeed! The DSiWare, from what I hear, have to be searched for. I hear they're there, though. All of them.

@6ch6ris6 - You can seach for your DSiWare by putting part of the name of it into the search box at the bottom of the screen, or you can set up a filter and choose DSiWare as the platform. The first one if better if you know what you are looking for.

i know. thats what i did. but i dont like that. i wanna enter the dsi shop right from the mainmenu of the esho. virtual console is there but not the dsishop. it sucks.

lol my download of kubos gut stuck. the e-shop is pretty busy right now i think. everyone tries it out xD

Brand new save files; Kubos likely needs to unlock those modes again and AiRace Tunnel is set to touch screen mode, change it to button mode in the controls menu.

go to the dsiware and when you can see the titles click the thingo in the corner. then go to search and filter to all dsiware. All of them will show up.

omg i just realized i was wrong. the dsiware games were transfered correctly but i forgot the savefiles cant be transfered. so i ended up with a game being touchcontrolled without changing the controls first. thats why analog pad and d-pad didnt work.

i guss it is the same with kubos. no save data so i have to start all other and get the other gamemodes after playing it first.

i am so embarresed right now .

I was wondering how dsiware games look on the 3DS with the higher resolution screen.
is it kinda the same as DS games?

The graphic quality in Dsiware isn't as good, which means the upscaling looks better.
