They do, except they're fuzzy. Play a game on a DS or DSi, then play the same game on a 3DS and you'll see what people are talking about.

I'm confused as to what this topic is about. If you're talking about resolution then you'll have to be more specific.
The 3DS has a horrible resolution for DS games, and the original small size.
The 3DSXL also has a bad resolution, but luckily also comes with the ideal DSi resolution.
If you compare a DSi to the regular 3DS for resolution you'll realise the issue.

For DSiWare games, this is pretty unnoticable as most games I play are stylized (the Q-Games trilogy for example), simplistic (Art Style) or ugly either way (Cake Ninja XMAS).
In reality, is the fuzziness that big of a deal? DS games are pretty ugly for the most part anyways. I wouldn't give a damn if someone stretched the resolution on my N64 because either way they're ugly as hell now.
This is a signature.
Link goes here now.
Screw you.
It really depends on the game, some you can hardly tell the difference unless you switch from one DS to the other like @RR529 said while others you can just tell the picture quality is a bit off. They don't look all that bad but its rather disappointing none the less.
