Topic: DS & DSi Ware Games on a 3DS XL your thoughts

Would like to know really what experiences you have had as im probably looking to trade in my DSi XL so ive compared Diddy Kong Racing and Zelda 4 swords Anniversary Edition and from what i can tell the screen sizes are virtually identical but the DSi XL displays the games looking slightly blockier but also clearer with more contrast whereas the 3DS XL displays the games with smoother edges but looking softer overall with a pastier less contrasty looking image, what have you lot experienced ?

I cannot stand playing any legacy games on new systems with stretched graphics. I've looked at Digger Dan on my XL but with non-stretched graphics. It looks lovely. Mostly though, I only play 3DS games on my 3DS.

Unless the DS non-scaled graphics mode fits more of the screen than my 3DS does (does it?), I wouldn't be too excited for it. However, you'll wind up playing 3DS games more than you think in comparison to DS games, and the stretched graphics are bearable.
