How isn't it? Beyond the fact that I don't think we are getting Super Nintendo games as 3D Classics, I don't want to pay $6-10 for a game I already own with little, to no new content/features. What are they going to do? Update the graphics? And add online play? You know Nintendo too well.
Just for you. "I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear." - Freddie Mercury
3D Classics are the biggest ripoff that Nintendo has ever done. I bought Excitebike and Xevious and am already bored with them. It would have been a much better idea to put all the 3D Classics in a single compilation cart (like Pac-Man and Galaga Dimensions).

Yeah but they couldn't update or add new ones every few weeks and or months

Think about it not all people have or played the game before and I think the reason made 3D classics because it's for a younger generations like kids who weren't born 15 years ago or so.
. Heads up my name online on the 3DS and Xbox Live is Bubbab5 to let you guys know. My 3DS FC 5412 9927 8618

No, that's what the VC is for. The real problem is that most classic games wouldn't benefit from 3D.
I already own it on the SNES and the Wii VC but it's one of my all time favorite games so I would probably buy it again I'm not sure how much the 3D would add to it though, then again, same goes for Kirby. I can see this happening close to the launch of DKC Returns 2 whenever that is. It'd be awesome if they packaged all three of the originals into one, that would be a day one purchase for me!

But in a way 3D Classic games are VC games. They're old games brought back for new gamers to discover.

I can see some improvements: Higher resolution Better colors More "depth" to the CG-rendered graphics

That's all graphics related whereas a game like Xevious actually benefits gameplay wise from the depth. Still, I would probably buy it just for the improved graphics

Then why is Kirby's Adventure a 3D Classic? It has no depth perception at all, You just move left and right.
If 3D remakes of classics are too much of a rip off don't buy them. Outside of the free Excitebike I don't plan on purchasing any. Just out of curiousity what would be some good games to get the 3D re-tooling? Starfox (SNES) comes to mind, but why bother when the vastly superior 64 version is available?
Yeah, Kirby only benefited by the improved graphics which would be the case with most 2D games as Meta-Rift was saying. I still bought Kirby's Adventure and play with the 3D on and would do the same with DKC but I see no reason why Nintendo should rush to make it. I'm good either way
If done right that would be the best 3D Classic ever. If done the way it would in real life be done, it's still a great game
also, Namco you've already remade Pac-Man and Galaga in 3D in PM&G, put em on the eShop with Xevious and the XBLA games, and just for the heck of it put that Pac-Man 3D Movie on Nintendo Video .
Video Games and I are gettin' old (And we still haven't walked in the glow Of each others majestic presence!)
What is the J files you may ask? Why only the biggest fad of 2023! :D
