Hia, just wondered if somebody who's played the 3DS could tell me if when you glance down at the bottom screen, does the 3D screen blur, or does it stay 3D, just at the top of your vision?
That is a damn good question. I just wanted to state that, but I have no answer -- I'm sorry. Given the type of technology it is, I would think it wouldn't lose it. I know some high profile camcorders record in 3D with a 3D viewfinder... and if you look away and back it does not lose the effect... so maybe it's just a matter of how fast our eyes adjust back and forth. I'm sure we'd get used to it.
...I dunno, then again it shouldn't matter much, I mean, you're not looking at it directly anyways. xD
This. You have to look directly at the 3D screen to get the effect, so it would blur when you look at the bottom screen. The screens are different widths, so I'm guessing you're not going to see bosses that take up both screens anyways (except for on regular DS games which will be in 2D anyways, so it doesn't matter). It looks like the bottom screen is mainly used for controls/inventory/map, stuff like that, while the main gameplay is shown on the top for most games.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
According to some previews for games I read, the 3d blurs when you look to from left or right, but it mostly sames in place when you look up and down. So look at the bottom screen than looking at the top screen the 3d should still be in place but I still don't.
Here's my guess. You don't lose the 3D effect, but the switch from view from the 3D screen, to the 2D back to the 3D probably needs some milliseconds of adjustment with your eyes. Probably not a deal for most games, but I imagine some fighting games or racing games there might be an issue.
