Nope I do not regret buying it. In fact before I bought the 3DS I wasnt that much into handheld games since the era of the original Gameboy. But with all these great titles coming out in the next year and the great titles out already I am lovin the 3DS.

It's not like he's trolling. He's just trying to see if any are in the same position as himself. Most of what he says are legitimate concerns of more than a few people.
I didn't meant thatr by my original comment. It was just pointing out that this thread could easily become one of these threads like the ones we used to see back then.

I hope it won't.
as long as no one goes comparing consoles i think we are alright
Heck no. Kid Icarus Uprising alone makes the 3DS worth the price of admission imho. Not to mention all the first party games we already got and are getting in the coming months. With Game Boy/Color,Genesis, NES, and the potential of GBA and SNES games coming to the virtual console and the already impressive eShop line-up, I don't see what's not to love, besides a disappointing and very prominent design flaw, te marks the lower screen leavesontheupper screen, the 3DS is well n it's way to becoming my favorite handheld ever, if it isn't already.

1. 3D feature is terrible (pretty much useless IMO)
The 3D is absolutely stunning in most games, but judging from Reason 2...
2. The parallax barrier display bothers my eyes in both 2D & 3D modes.
...you can't see the 3D anyway, so you aren't really in any position to judge it. The 3D does hurt some people's eyes, it's true, but those people play their games in 2D mode, which does not hurt anyone's eyes. I don't understand how you can say 2D mode hurts your eyes. The screen is just like a DS screen in 2D mode.
3. Its uncomfortable to hold 4. Short battery life
The Nyko battery pak+ fixes both of these.
5. The start button is not a "button"
I hardly think that's a reason to regret buying a 3DS. C'mon.
2. The parallax barrier display bothers my eyes in both 2D & 3D modes.
Wut..? The parallax barrier isn't even active when you play in 2D... So in that case your eyes are getting hurt by a normal LCD screen. Should be a pain watching TV or using a computer for you OP
On topic: Right now, no. I did regret getting it at launch however cause the launch was really bad. But on the other hand, I got loads of ambassador games that I never got to play on the GBA.

He never said he couldn't see it. And why would that make a persons opinion invalid? If you were unable to see 3D, and a system that was focused around the concept of 3D was released, you don't think that you wouldn't be able to complain?

You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Of course he has a right to complain. But him not knowing he could see the 3DS's 3D and not knowing if it hurt his eyes is his own fault. If he cannot physically try a demo 3DS in Best Buy, Wal Mart, etc. before buying one himself, it is his own fault. He also shouldn't use that as a reason to sell it. All of it could have been prevented by going to a store.

Yeah, I agree with this. People are responsible for doing their own research before buying a product. If they go in blind, so to speak, and are not satisfied, then that's not really a reflection on the quality of the product or the company that made it.
The 3DS has been out for a year now, but the only game I've bought is Resident Evil Revelations. I have Ocarina of Time, but apart from it being a remake, which I've played to death, I got it with my 3DS as a bundle and so it doesn't count.
There's not too much that interests me on the horizon either. Maybe Luigi's Mansion and Mario Tennis (the only Mario titles I will buy) and definitely Monster Hunter, but on the software side, for me at least, it's been pretty barren.
I don't regret buying a 3DS because it's statistically impossible for no-one to release a game for it in its lifespan that I want to play. I just wish it wouldn't take so long.
