I think they are the best. They were my first handheld games ever. I love the missingno glitch. There's nothing wrong with nostalgia. I have good memories playing these games with my little brother.

Nostalgia doesn't work for me when the series improved on so many things that these games are horribly outdated. Heck, the only people most likely to buy these are those who want nostalgia.

Red was my first Pokemon game but I feel little nostalgia for it. However I wouldn't say it's aged badly, I can still find it charming, but out of all Pokemon games it has probably aged the worst.

Yellow feels slightly better, and maybe because I played it the most out of all the old Gameboy Pokemon games, Gold feels like it aged pretty well to me.

Visually yes and the gameplay has aged pretty bad in terms of speed. The music has aged fantastically though imo.

Totally agree with this. I'd say it's aged in a very similar way to Golden on N64. It's still that amazing classic in terms of music, memories, and core gameplay. Unfortunately, graphics, advanced gameplay, and controls...not so much.
