In the Nintendo Direct, didn't they say that the NA version would have something extra added that they couldn't talk about?
(a girl can dream but...) Maybe they are adding voice chat.
It's just a wild guess, it's probably not true x3.

That'd be awesome! I didn't know they said that now I want to know what it is

The pictures look awesome, countdown for Japanese new year? I like how they can swim while your fishing, does it scare away any nearby fish?

Question: Are the L and R buttons needed to play Newleaf? I broke both XD

I found several websites very helpful for Animal Crossing: New Leaf - 3ds that you might want to check out:

English Websites/Blogs:

www.sosostris.com (Some one else found this in a different thread on here nintendolife just re posting the web address)
www.linandko.weebly.com
www.linandko.tumblr.com
http://acnewleaf.com/

German Website:

www.ac3ds.de/ - Translate this page (Google it & you'll be able to translate it to english)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U-KChx47tE (They have a youtube channel www.ac3ds.de)

Yes that's the Japanese New Year Coutdown. I don't if it can scare away any fish while you swim like I said I don't have the game yet. Won't until June 9th.

@Clubmini

I'm afraid to ask but how did you brake the L & R buttons? Just curious...

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

Another question, how many people can play on one game, like how many players can live in one town, the normal 4 or is it 1 now?

First player will be the Mayor,
but the other three players will be regular residents.

@Barbiegurl777 I have no idea... I did drop my 3DS once.. but it didn't do much but a dent on the R button. I only have heroes of ruin as a retail game and I did try to preserve my 3DS's L and R buttons. It looks like I just made it worse... My L button broke just one year after purchase (I hate you warranty).
Anyway.. Does anyone know if New leaf requires the L and R buttons to play?
