@geek_master That game was great! just need to be fixed for tall instead of wide like a pinball table. We need more games from fuse. I wanna see MPP2 Echoes with an alternative dark table on every one.
@Mickeymac give the wikipedia bashing a rest. it's mostly accurate and cites other sites.

But where are they getting the information about these generations? What differetiates one generation from another? I've read the articles and looked at the sources, and it seems to me like Wikipedia invented the entire system.

Link's Awakening. Yes, it'll be worth it.

Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare

Do you mean the Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords, which was an extra game that came with A Link to the Past on the GBA?

@Mickey.... Actually :P The Legend of Zelda The Four Swords started off on the Gamecube. It forced you to own the Gamecube and Disc as well as One GBA SP per player as well as the extra docking stations for the GBA per player and you only got One in the box with the game and the cables were NOT cheap either. After shelling out like nearly $200 to play it with 4 people the game was NOT worth that kind of money that I paid. Oh I was ticked off :) to say the least.

I think it was about a year or so afterwards all this that the GBA cart of A Link to the Past with included The Four Swords on the cart as well, wich I own that one as well, BUT yet again you have to have multiple people and link cables there as well to play it.

GBA Color is where its at. Rayman, Shantae and many other games that a lot of people havent ever played were on there. I didnt upgrade to a Color until a few years back recently and man did I miss some great games, especially the two Zelda games Oracle/Seasons.

According to my Nintendo Power collection, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past & Four Swords came out on the Game Boy Advance on December 2nd, 2002. Four Swords Adventures came out on the Gamecube on June 7th, 2004. I also distinctly recall buying A Link To The Past when it was new before I owned a Gamecube, played Four Swords through Twice with my brother and his friend, and then got excited Four Swords Adventures when it was announced a year or so afterwards. Then we bought it new with a guide book and played it sometime before we got a Nintendo DS and PS2 on February 2005, so we never got to finish FSA.

To be honest, I'm quite pumped for all the GB and GBC games. I kind of missed out on that whole handheld era--my first handheld was a GBA--so I'm really excited to play all the great games I missed.

They do need to make a Four Swords Adventure for the 3DS/Wii though, lol.
I can't remember many GB games, but I'm pretty sure like others have said could fill up the VC fast. Not to mention the GBA games, whenever they decide to release them.

Why wouldn't it stand a chance, surely its worth it for 1st party titles alone, wii VC still looks great to me I love it for imports, sure they wont be able to release everything, license issues, companies going bust etc but its still an awesome service IMO.

No and no. What is going on the 3DS virtual console is still going to be restricted by licensing and ownership. Rare games will never be on the console, baring some kind of miracle business partnership between Microsoft and Nintendo.
