As a Pirates of the Caribbean fan, I'd like to see Mario go on a Pirate themed adventure. And I'd also like to see a Paper Donkey Kong game as I really enjoy Paper Mario.
On the other hand, I hope Nintendo will seriously push Kid Icarus and Animal Crossing the way they've been pushing and promoting the Super Mario Galaxy games.

Why wouldn't it work? The Super Mario Galaxy series is amazing, and I don't know how else Nintendo is going to top the SMG series. How can you top space?

Well...... I wasn't a huge fan of Super Mario Galaxy but that wouldn't be a bad idea. It would be SMG 3 and it would be awesome in 3D and in space at the same time. Here's a story plot that might be a good idea, Mario and Luigi have to rescue Rosalina from the evil Bowser, and you would play Mario or Luigi and you can switch between them like Lego games.

i dont know, the whole "OH MY, PEACH IS STUCK IN SPACE" thing is kinda over done. when i picked up smg2 it felt like bonus content to its predesesor, nothing really new. so could it happen? yes, should it happen? depending on if the levels arent like 2 min long like in #2, i thought i failed badly. lol i'd probably buy it even if it sucked XD

Eh, after Galaxy 2 nailed it so perfectly I really don't think we need another one, and Miyamoto respects the property too much to milk it to death. I think New Super Mario Bros. 3DS is a definite, though, in fact I'll go as far as saying it will launch next Christmas as the 3DS' big seller.

Agreed. I think they could do a lot more with the new hardware than just another Galaxy game.
True, they could do games that utilise the new feautres, like gyroscope. maybe they could simply have a 3d enviroment in the mushroom kingdom, where you could visit peach, and travel to sarasaland to see daisy, then rosalinas ship would crash or something, lol idk, anything with mario and a hubworld, im in for
