I mean the original Gameboy games. I'd prefer it if they weren't just pea soup green like on the old Gameboy. Imagine Return of Samus or Mario Six golden coins in full color! Not sure If they'd take the time and effort to add color to every game though. Sure would be sweet if they did.

Probably not if they do straight ports like they did with the games on the Wii VC. Personally I think the color adds to the nostalgia feel but maybe thats just me.

Since I grew up on the original Gameboy I'm sure I'd be okay if they were still the same. It would be nice if it was somehow optional. The Super gameboy on Snes could add color to the old games and that was about 17 years ago.

I would've thought it'd give you the option to play it with Gameboy (green/brown), Gameboy Pocket (black/white) or Gameboy Color/Super Gameboy colours. I don't think Pokemon, especially Gold/Silver, would be the same for me without the GBC/SGB colours...... but at the same time I don't think Donkey Kong Land, Super Mario Land or Tetris would be the same in anything but the original green/brown gameboy colours.
I'd like to see them get a lick of paint, but knowing Nintendo they'll probably just leave them untouched. Not sure if I'm excited to play games that will look so dated.
Nintendo's official policy (whether or not through laziness) seems to be to release games as a direct emulation so that people can "play the games as they remember them". Unfortunately, that also means those of us in PAL regions also get the often inferior PAL versions of games, complete with black borders and slow frame rates...
Consequently, I'd say 'no'.
I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

Games that were released as GameBoy Color games would still use the Color colors. But I don't think they would port Pokémon games. .
no, no..... you completely mis-understand. The only "Gameboy Color" Pokemon game was Crystal, all the games before that were original Gameboy games. Yellow, Gold and Silver were Gameboy games with extra colour "instructions" built into the cartridge for when played on a Gameboy Color and the original Pokemon Games had some limited colouring despite not mentioning the GBC at all and working fine on the original Gameboy without any colour. Some other games had similar specific colour instructions built into the Gameboy Color itself!
Even with games that didn't have a specific set of colours you could still, on the Gameboy Color and I think also the GBA, pick what colours it used on the title screen. I don't see why they wouldn't do this on a 3DS VC. You would also think that if they eventually did the Virtual Boy they'd give an option to use colours other than Red and Black! I certainly hope they do all of these things and I don't see why it would be difficult.
