Well, the first game was a success so this makes sense even if I wasn't expecting it. Nice.

Hopefully sales were decent enough in the U.S. that they'll bring it over. I really enjoyed the original.

Currently Playing: Yakuza Kiwami 2 (SD)

If they get starwars and marvel in there I'll buy it.

If Frozen is in the sequel, I may just kill myself.

Okay, so now I might have a moral quandry! But also I want Big Hero 6? So, uh, maybe we'll get that (and maybe just Elsa?) instead. But honestly I think they'd make Frozen into DLC anyway.

@Barbiegurl777 I want a Lilo & Stitch world! Stitch was by far my favorite character in Magical World. I loved seeing his observations on the seasonal themes. I'd also like to see Hundred Acre Wood come back, but could do without the "classic" princess worlds. I'd like to see what they would do with Atlantica. It'd be scary and how would Ariel get to the cafe, but Agrabah kind of was creepy too?

Haha sorry, guys, but I really don't like that movie. I wouldn't mind if they made cameo appearances or furniture set or something, but I wouldn't want to see an entire world based on it. I'd actually prefer that the worlds would be from classic movies, which would be better represent Disney. Anything from the 90s and lower would be great for me. Unfortunately, all of my favourite Dis movies are very underrated/unknown (one of the 2, or both), so they would never be represented in the game; The Great Mouse Detective, A Goofy Movie (my personal fave), and The Fox and The Hound. I also like Sleeping Beauty a lot though, and that has the best chance of becoming a world. I'd love to have a dragon as a boss!

@Donjwolf Yeah, and Japan seems to like the classic stuff more so we'll probably see more classic worlds! I like Disney's newer movies (and the Pixar stuff), but I don't think we'll see much of them in a sequel except as visitors or trading cards and MAYBE one DLC world again. But I like the classic core Disney cast! It's just that their world is...the hub world.

I'm not too fond of their newer movies. I think Disney has lost their touch, and I only liked Bolt the most with their recent movies. The other movies are decent enough, but it's only Frozen that I don't like at all. I don't really like Pixar either. Obviously I'm one of the minority who thinks so. I don't mind seeing them as worlds, but when people think Disney, they think of their classic movies and characters, which is why those movies would be better as worlds in this game.

@Barbiegurl777 I think AGM is underrated and unknown. Ask the average joe on the street if they've heard of AGM and they probably will have no idea what you're talking about, but will know The Lion King or Snow White. Disney themselves never bothered to advertise the movie. I never heard of AGM until I saw a TV commercial days before it was to come to theatres, and I was a huge Disney junkie back then. I never seen it mentioned once in Disney Adventures magazine (one of my artwork was published there). It's just not as well known as Disney's other movies. You and I may know about it, but the general public don't.

Speaking of Goof Troop, you can buy DVD sets in stores. There's only two volumes so far, and they're really cheap.

I can't wait for this game to come West. Great Mouse Detective is one of my favorite movies. Still love the princesses though. Ariel is my favourite princess. Goofy movies were awesome. I hope they include a Brave world. So loved that Scottish movie. She was kick a** and didn't need a prince to rescue her. My daughter would love if Frozen was included too.

Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword

So they really DID make Frozen a world. UGH. Interest dwindling rapidly.

RIGHT??? I thought I wanted Frozen the most, but this came out of NOWHERE! So excited!!!

Also...I'm really excited about the Donald Duck world (???)! He's my favorite classic Disney character (aside from Scrooge) and I DEFINITELY didn't see that coming!

Dezzy

I had no idea any of those had 2nd films!

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

@barbiegurl777 I love Lilo & Stitch, Frozen, and the Winnie the Pooh movies! So I'm glad they're all being featured. I actually don't really like older Disney stuff very much (except the main group), but I'm glad they're there for people who like them! It wouldn't be as fun if it was just all-new or all-old, I think.

@Dezzy Don't really know about the other ones, but the Lilo & Stitch movies are actually a trilogy (although I don't think they planned it like that). There's a real ending and everything!

@Dezzy: Lots of Disney movies has had direct-to-video sequels. If you're a Dis fan, I'm surprised you've never heard of them. In addition to the others mentioned above, there's also The Jungle Book 2, 101 Dalmatians 2, Atlantis 2, The Little Mermaid 2, Kronk's new Groove, The Fox and The Hound 2, Cinderella 2, The Lion King 1½ (a prequel/parallel movie), The Return of Jafar, and Aladdin and The King of Thieves (yes, it has 2 sequels). There's actually more that I didn't mention, but that's okay. 98% of them are really awful anyway, so you not knowing them is actually a good thing

I am so excited for this game that I am tempted to import the Japanese special edition New 3DS just so I can play it. I don't think I can wait until it releases here in NA plus I want those cover plates.

There's actually a Cinderella 3 as well, which is surprisingly decent, albeit weird (Time travel is involved). Disney actually had a lot more planned too, but then there was a change of management and they decided to put the kibosh on DisneyToon Studios and all those direct-to-video sequels, which was really just a cheap low-quality moneymaking scheme. Of course, now for this generation it seems our new DTV sequel trend is the new trend of Disney's to make live-action remakes of beloved classics. We'll see how long that lasts before people get sick of it.

What you said is some of the reasons why I no longer worship Disney. IMO the only good thing they've done lately is releasing the LucasArts games digitally for the first time.
