The so called Disney's own version of "Animal Crossing" will be available today and based on the trailer the game does look interesting! Wife has been waiting the release of this game since the day she saw the trailer, so I am going to pick one up for her after I'm off work today. Depends on how the game feels, I might get one for myself..?

So, are you guys going to pick one up? For the people who already bought the game, is it any good?

Well being a big Disney Fan myself and I do enjoy life sims like Harvert Moon and such I have been thinking of picking this one up. Especially after the great review NL gave it.

Yeah but the main focus of this game (from what I see) are managing the cafe and make new clothes....if it were Harvest Moon-ish with in depth farming and interaction, I would be all over it.

I would get this one during a sale. i haven't even opened my copy of Animal Crossing New Leaf anyway.

Overall the game has been getting good reviews, but I am not a huge Disney fan. I still have a soft spot for them.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

I have heard that there is a farming section in it as well now I am not sure if it is as in depth as HM or what but along with that there are alot of things this game has to offer. At least that's what @Ron_DelVillano said in his review.

To answer both your question's:

1. So, are you guys going to pick one up? YES! :D I downloaded this last night at midnight! :D

2. For the people who already bought the game, is it any good? YES!! :D Your wife will love this game it's extremely cute & the graphic's are beatiful in the game also as a FYI if you need the AR cards for this game the Japanese AR Cards do in fact work for this game lol. I spent an hour this morning scanning AR cards into my game off [url]www.google.co.jp[url] then under ''images'' it's the second button on top from left side type in ''Disney Magic Castle 3ds AR Cards'' then ok button. ;)

I'm normally not a big disney fan but I am defently enjoying this title. Also if anyone want's to know the block size for those downloading the game it's around 4,000 block's well worth it though. :D

I'll post screenshots later. ;)

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

http://disneymagicalworld.nintendo.com/#bonus-items

There is the Seasonal Set - Easter which is $1, and a Café set - Sleeping Beauty which is $2.

Well, considering the game came out last year in Japan, yeah. Although I wasn't really thrilled finding out about paid DLC either after playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf. @_@;

I actually think the game is pretty fun thus far. I like the crafting system, the game itself is relatively relaxing (except when there's a quest deadline and you can't get the required materials yet), and it just feel like there's so much to do and collect. It's probably not deep enough for most hardcore gamers (I give bonus points for Disney), but it's deeper than I expected. The light RPG parts provide a nice change of pace. I honestly feel a little silly being a 25 year old male playing this but hey, when Mickey asks me to find materials to make a toy for Pluto, I feel like a kid again. Don't worry Mickey, I'd do anything for Pluto!

Everyone has a soft spot for Pluto ;). Wife is loving the game so far, but she kept making comparison with ACNL. She mentioned that ACLF has a smoother gameplay while Disney Magical World feels laggy?

Even though I love ACNL being new to ac series as in 3 years playing ac as opposed to veterans who've played since early 2000 era (gamecube version of ac) acnl 3ds favorite of all ac games. I do really like disney magical world maybe a smidge better only because alot of the characters i grew up watching: DuckTales, Goof Troop, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse etc. :)

Characters in ac are cool but pretty much for-un to me because whole different scene.

I got this day 1 and when I first started it I thought - boy did I just waste good money on this? I stuck with it for a little bit and decided 'Ok it's not bad. Time to take a break.' I saved my game and looked at the clock. An hour and a half had passed. Holy crap how did that happen? This game gets you without you knowing it. :)
