Ok, got it. Looks like I'm not heading that way though.

Out of curiosity I loaded up my file from 3 years ago to see where I was at. Now knowing what I know it's know wonder I couldn't finish the game. My demons sucked. Also I didn't even realize I had Gin, Midori, Amane, Mari and Izuna on that play through. So far now I'm on day 4 and only Midori is on my team. I feel like I should have more but I guess it doesn't matter since only 4 can battle at once anyways.

Does anybody know if you can stack physical boost? Say both the playable character and one or both demons?

Yes. Any boost will specifically boost that character's respective attacks

On to day 6 now. Like I said I'm sticking with this this time. I'm enjoying the story even more so this play through then the last. A lot more thinks have come together and I've done a few different things then before. My demons are really strong and have had a breeze for the most part since day 2. Great game!

I'm starting to hit a bit of a wall. Not been fighting enough and trying to soak up the story has left me with few demons and little Macha or however it's pronounced. The last fight I had it was down to just 2 of us. One of my characters and one demon. Thankful my group took them out because I had none in reserve as well. Got my big fight coming up in less then 2 hours and I doubt I'll beat it. Glad it took 3 days though before I hit that wall!

@Ralizah You better still be playing this lol. I'm going to hold you to this. It's always nice to have someone to play along side with especially someone that has also not beat the game.

Most days offer you not-time-advancing fights that let you farm for Macca and level up the team. You really shouldn't be attempting a not-using-those-at-all run until your third playthrough.

Well it's decision time and I'm at the end of day 6. I'm going to make a separate file here and see what happens if I go back and select a different persons option.

Question: Are the options I have to choose from the only ones or could there be others depending on the choices I made? I have 5 choices atm Gin, Amane, Yuzu, Atsuro, and Naoya. I'm going to assume that those are 5 different endings.

You did well, actually, as getting so many at once takes a lot of foreplanning if you're trying to get it on purpose! And yes, those are 5 different endings, and only Yuzu's is always available.

Well that's even better to know as I did no planning what so ever. I just had a tough choice of whom to choose from time to time and didn't stick with the same person all the time. Explains why I got way more story then my first almost play through. I'm still not quite where I was the first so around bit I'm almost there. Glad to know I can use this save file to pretty much see the whole game!

You can do the same with the extra days. Some routes have extra days. Some of those extra days (such as the ones in the "Overlord" and "Kingdom of Saints" endings) can make their stories end in different ways.

Impressive, @Spoony_Tech. I'd gotten a few characters killed by this point in the game and so only had three real options available to me. I'm going to play in a more balanced way on my next journey through the game.

I'm trying to balance my karma points in SMT IV so that I can access the law and neutral endings from the same save file. It's quite a pain, actually!

It's been a slow go since my last post and I'm not digging the fact that every fight on the last day is basically a boss fight. With that said I'm finally past the point where I stopped playing 3 years ago and beat Belberith. Not sure what to expect going forward and not sire how many fights I have left but it's getting tiresome fighting all these bosses. Hope I'm almost there!
