I still have the original 3ds and I use it as my main 3ds and its still in great condition...besides.the circle pad. It feels like it might come off soon and also the battery kinda sucks since I got it back when it got a price cut in 2011. I want to upgrade to the New 3ds but want to know if I do and transfer my stuff will my streetpass,, activity log and Nintendo network id transfer? I have a 3dsxl I wanted to try it on just to test it out but wasnt sure if I would have been able to send everything back to the original 3ds if I did.
