Topic: Curtesy call from Ashley of Gamestop

I was just curious how many of you reserving their games at Gamestop have received the following message:

"Hi, this is Ashley from Gamestop. Hi, this is Ashley, calling to remind you, that [insert name of game title here] will be arriving Sunday morning...."

Received Friday afternoon 3-something pm CDT. This time, the announcement is for the Nintendo 3DS. I've heard this exact same recording many times in the past. Her high-pitched squeaky voice never ceases to make me smile (although it annoys my fiance to no end when I play it back over the speakerphone), because I know that soon I'll have hot new Nintendo goodies in hand soon!

Her voice sounds like grinding rusty gears every time I hear her. Not to mention SHE SPEAKS REALLY LOUD!

I got one for the 3ds midnight launch. unfortunately I can't go to gamestop tonight at midnight

I should've never pre-ordered from Amazon. I have to wait til early April.

I feel the same way could gettin my at that time but that was to long for me so i did the one day shippment, thats way i get it on tues.

If I hear her grating voice one more time I will not be happy.

I preordred Pokemon White from amazon , and I got it Much Much earlier then the date they said it would arrive.

so hopefully It will be the same with the 3DS

I can't say that I imagined her exactly like that but my imagination was close to what she looks like there in that photo. I've got to agree with StarDust that it'd be quite nice to meet her in the physical world. I also would love to meet Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch).
