Topic: Conker 3DS

As I understand it, Rare are free to develop games for handheld systems of rival companies. With this in mind, I'd love to see a 3D remake of Conker's Bad Fur Day. It shouldn't be that difficult for them, they remade it with better graphics on the Xbox already. Failing that, perhaps a sequel. Online multiplayer would be a must.

RARE already tried to remake Bad Fur Day for the XBOX (ironically, removing all the worst profanity in the process), and I can't see Nintendo being as lenient this time around. I wouldn't like to see a toned down Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Unfortunately, In terms of this actually happening, Indeed, RARE would be able to develop for rival companies (being part owned by Microsoft), but Conker is too big a franchise for Microsoft to give such a port the go ahead. Plus, not only are they a shadow of their former self (even the directors left and are working in agriculture or something), RARE are now Microsoft's biatch and are too busy making casual Kinect Sports games to be able to work on a port.

Seriously, visit their Youtube page, and all you'll find is Kinect Sports videos. A whole legacy wiped clean.

Now a port by a third party port would work (seeing as how RARE are sooooo busy nowadays), but Microsoft would have to agree with it, Conker being a third party property.

You have no idea how bad I want this. But under the condition that they don't remove the original N64 multiplayer. That's all I ask. And maybe less fuzz textures. It's cool that you can do it, but no animal in the world looks like they got run through a drier at all times.

Rareware is dead as you can get, a crying shame too. Banjo Kazooie and Tooie were probably the best N64 games at all times, and we'll never get that third installment we were promised ( STFU, Nuts 'n Bolts is a travesty ) and Conkers Bad Fur Day had some of the best multiplayer around, even if you weren't a fan of the gore.

I never got to play their N64 games and would love to play the likes of Conker's bad fur day, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Perfect dark and Jet force gemini but I'll probably never get to. A 3DS remake would be awesome if it wasn't like the Xbox version. I've seen videos of both versions and the Xbox version doesn't look as good,not just because of the censoring but they messed with the story, removed some of the multi-player modes and some of the characters look too different. In a 3DS version, I would want the characters to be the same but look better, rather than Conker being a big furball, Greg wearing purple (what grim reaper wears purple?) and the great mighty poo doesIn't look as poo-ey as he should. If they didn't get remade on Nintendo consoles, it would be great to see Rare N64 classics on Wii vc but that unfortunately will never happen.
