@shingi_70 I doubt that. The Wii U's architecture is still closer to the Wii's than say a PC. This, of course, means that everything will be fully customizable (shaders, lighting, textures, etc). The Wii wasn't a console you could lazily develop for and make it look good as well. Seeing that HVS was one of the view companies that bothered to put in the effort to make their games look good in technical aspects, I really don't see things changing (in terms of their advantages), unless dev costs are too high for them.

Really their main issues are needing a better game designer and some better artists.

Every Developer has had at least two major FPS on thier system. I could see the Conduit becoming the Gears to Metroid's Halo but that's about it. Going off of Dev Comments the Wii U does share some architecture with the Wii But Dev comments are saying that The Wii U and PC games will be the same visually.

But High Voltage made the mistake of trying to Become the Next Bungie. They showed the Quantum Engine at the Height of the Wii's popularity. Other Dev's were trying to Make games work for the wii and just ended up with crappy ports on uninspired ground up games. They should have postioned themselves as Epic or ID software licensing the engine to make it easier for other Devs. They just didn't want the Competition but now they'll face that with wii u.

Also Conduit 2 has awesome art direction.

Almost all shooter nowadays are generic. He!l they've been generic for the past 3 years (On consoles...)

But being generic, doesn't mean you can't have fun. Conduit hasn't gotten good reviews simply because when you compare to Resistance or Killzone or Halo or COD, it's not nearly as fun.

Personally, I'd love to see id software port Quake or Doom to the 3DS (Because Rage was...) Those games were fast paced, and it was simple and intuitive.
I want the designers to just focus on (Or at least, really really look at) the multiplayer aspect of this game. I want this game to be the one people reach for when they want to play a shooter on the 3DS with their friends.
(I'll post more later, I'm getting really tired.

Thaaaaaanks for noticin' me.

Anything Conduit related needs to die. I bought Conduit 2 a year after it came out (I couldn't find it anywhere, no one stocked it), and thought it was extremely generic. The sound effects were horrible (the melee attack sounded like you were hitting someone with a block of wood, and the constant grunting from Mr. Ford was ear-grating). The story was filled with cliche's, and the character development was non-existent. The only things I liked about the game were the controls and some of the level designs.

the games aren't perfect, no, but they're still a lot of fun, at least for me, and i highly enjoyed playing the first, and am planning on eventually picking up the second
