@kaiser links are hard to post on 3ds, but retro seemed to find my gallery easily. Just go to the colorslive website, click search in the up right corner and type the username in painted by box, brings up their gallery. Or this time just check your latest comment I'll leave. :3

Here is probably my favorite of the paintings I've made so far, although it isn't perfect.

EDIT: Yeah, that looked much better small than blown up here... I have much work to do to this one.

Can you do tracing with your "photos"? (since its pretty much easy to get internet images onto your SD card, lol)

@Eureka Yeah, you can import photos from the camera and trace them.

Awesome, just afraid I'm gonna mess with it a few times then never touch it again because I suck at drawing. T.T
(actually because I don't do it much anymore, but whatever)

I was messing with 3D effects did a real cool thing with my pictures, made the screen look like it was frozen and the Piranha Plant as breathing fire through it melting it.

Anyone have tips for coloring using this app? I really suck at it.

This is how I do it: Draw your outlines on one layer, and color it on a layer below. When you are finished, merge the layers together and delete the extra layer. Makes it much easier that way! Hope this helps!

Whoa, I didn't even know you could do that! How the heck do you do that? I didn't even notice something like that last time I used Colors! 3D. That would be a major help, thank you!

@retro Draw the outline on the layer you want it, then in the layer below color, like @gioku said. Then go to the menu where it shows the 5 layers sideways and seperated. Then take the layer with color, drag it down 1 and to the right 1 on your screen.

I was doing that at first but then... I just found it easier to paint over my lines. Unless your going to be painting cartoon/anime style. Like if your actually going to keep the outlines, or make really thick outlines. Though it's still cool you can do that.
