Topic: Club Nintendo UK Down - Ocarina Of Time Pre-Order Bonus?

I registered my OoT game late yesterday afternoon (UK). I was able to get my address details in, and down to the bottom of the page where you had the option of declining the offer of the CD, or clicking on the bar "completing registration" as a way of accepting the offer. When I clicked on that bar it never moved to the next screen, which I presumed would have been the finish of the process. I was a bit miffed and clicked it several times - then I noticed that my 250 bonus stars had actually been added to my star total, so I decided maybe it had all registered properly and just logged out. We'll see what happens over the next 8 weeks. Here's hoping

I had absolutely no problem registering it...Probably because it was at 9 in the morning yesterday, before I told everybody about it...

As many folks seem to have had similar problems to myself in properly registering OoT and their interest in receiving the music CD offer of the game (in the UK and Europe), I have emailed Nintendo UK giving them brief details of the problem as below:-

"However, the page showing the "completing registration" did not move to the next web page (presumably the final closing page of the registration procedure). I'm hoping my interest in receiving the music CD offer will have been registered, and assume the problem was probably related to heavy traffic at that time. I am a registered participant on the NintendoLife.com website, and I note a number of other subscribers to that website have also had similar problems in registering their interest in receiving the music CD offer, whilst they registered their copy of the game. I would welcome your comments and would be pleased to post a response from you there if you wish, unless you prefer to do that yourself.
I give a link to the main item regarding this on the NintendoLife forum below:-

I'll post any response I get from Nintendo, unless they do choose to respond themselves.

On my first attempt, I was told to add my street address, which I had but I had put house number and street name in the same box. I found by moving the street name into the second box it would instead give me the validation error.

I also could not get the report a problem page to work so I e-mailed Nintendo directly.

I suspect the problem is if you don't seperate house number and street name then it causes an error and once you've had an error, you can't register a product.

I would urge everyone having this problem to send an e-mail directly to Nintendo so they are made aware of the scale of the problem and hopefully rectify it and send us our CDs.

The e-mail address I used for Nintendo UK was

I've been having the same problem (the address issue). Yesterday, I filled in my postal address (correctly) and it told me there was an error. To complicate matters, if you leave open the form page, you eventually get a lovely 404 page so I can't go back and register it again. I looked this up and apparently loads of people besides myself had the same problem. Further research appeared to yield evidence that they had run out of stock. Here's a nifty source: http://www.n-europe.com/news.php?nid=15790
EDIT: This is really annoying.

@Jango-Forest:- Thanks for that link. I've just been there and found this comment from a forum member under the item.

"I have just spoken to Nintendo's service centre and they have assured me that the stock is not limited to 1000-2000, that was just an assumption they made before they got clarification. As long as you register your game before the 30th of June, you will get a c.d. They told me their site was simply over-loaded. If like me and many others you were unable to complete your form for the c.d., they are working on a solution to get everyones addresses, so keep your eyes and ears open. Good News."

So, some information at last. It's looking better

Top reconnaissance work chum. Looks like there's a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope I don't have to do anything too complicated to get this CD.
