Well, I'm not entirely sure if it's coming in today or not, but I ordered a custom skin for the 3DS. Figured I'd try Skinit out, anyways....you gotta clean the thing before applying the skins. What's the best way to clean it? Wanna make sure I do this right without damaging it. (also, even though its not necessary, figured I'll do the screens too)

Anyways I may take pics of my custom skin when I put them on...whenever I get them anyways. xD
Anyways, yeah...cleaning tips. >.>
Took sleeping medicine, its getting to me now, g'night. passes out onto the floor

Try a micro fibre cloth, the kind that an optometrist would give for cleaning glasses. It worked well for me, though the next time you touch the 3DS, finger prints will be left.

Main reason I bought a custom skin, so the smudges/fingerprints won't be as visible with the skin on.

EDIT: Figured I'll add to the title, this is my first time I bought a custom skin for anything. Anybody that bought anything from Skinit could also give tips on that. Unless its really easy then don't bother...but the site made it seem like its similar to screen protectors, and those were a freakin nightmare, lol

Since I have glasses I buy a $5 Eye Glasses Cleaner set at Costco which has a spray bottle of cleaning solution and a special micro fibre cloth. I find that if your careful to not spray it into any of the holes its an easy solution for a quick spray and wipe off.

Also gelaskins.com is out there. You can create custom skins for your 3DS too. I have one for my iPhone and I love it. Let us know how it looks on your 3DS with pics. Ive been thinking about ordering one too!
