So I'm having a really strange problem with my system that only seems to affect Monster Hunter: Generations (my brand new game, of course.) When using the Longsword and attempting to use Fadeslash (A+X), my character always performs the slash to the left by default, which is normally supposed to be a backward jump. I can get him to perform the attack to the right by holding the CP to the right (as is normal) but am completely unable to get him to do the default backward jump as it seems that the system is always registering a left press on the CP. (Don't worry I've already tried the CP Calibration tool many times and restarted the system many times.)

What's strange is this doesn't seem to affect any other aspect of my system or even any other games at all... it never scrolls endlessly to the left on menus as you might expect or causes my character to run in circles or anything, and I have never had an issue with it any other game, not even Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate which I can still pop in and perform the backward Fadeslash properly, which is even stranger.

I know this sounds like a small problem but it's actually pretty horrible trying to play the game without being able to perform this simple move. I'm completely at a loss here as to why this is happening, I'd appreciate any advice on how I might be able to fix it. Thanks.

@Tsurii Really?? Wow I had no idea. I'm using adept let me try switching. If that's the answer I'm going to feel so stupid... -_-

@Tsurii Yep, that was it. Thanks man, I tried researching this a million different ways and never saw anything saying certain styles took away the backward fadeslash, really appreciate your help.
