this too. it never had a remake first, then the intro song is pure genius, third i didnt have a chance to play it more than once, my cd 2 was unplayable near the end !! &?$@ everytime i beat the last boss, it froze. i never saw the ending else than youtubing. plus, it doesnt give me the chance to make a game+
one of the worst gaming nightmare i had. this and receiving... superman 64 as a present.

Chrono Trigger is overrated IMO. I find the characters weird, and not good weird. I find that the real time battling system doesnt really add much to the game and overall I just found the storyline sort of dull. Of course I didnt finish it; I got bored. This is coming from a big DQ fan btw so I'm not just anti-RPG

No more freakin remakes. Lets see something new. Do people really want to pay for the same experiences over and over again with just minor improvements? It just saw another one last gen for christ sake.

Don't worry you're notalone Geon. I've had it on SNES twice over the years and the DS one too when it got cheap, I've never finished it. Best was 2/3 into it I think with the floating rocks and chains area. The story never pulled me in, while the characters are good, I just never felt a drive to sit there and apply myself, and the combat I didn't enjoy much at all the way it was setup. It's not bad, it's just not gods gift to SNES gaming a lot of people rattle on about how it is either (as FF7 isn't for the PS1 too, same type of fan relationship to it.) I seem to give it a shot around every 5 years to see if my mood changes though, and it hasn't...same with earthbound every 10years as I just sold it off again as it got stale.
