These two games that were announced 3 years ago at the time of the Nintendo 3DS reveal, do you think that they would both be released here in the West? The Dragon Ball Z game was released back in February for Japan this year and no word has been heard from Squire Enix about the development for Chocobo Racing 2. Although, I have the l sneaking suspicion that in their E3 presentation, a slated release date would be announced (presumably 2014). What are your thoughts?
The Dragon Ball Z game is intimately linked to a Japan-only series of arcade cabinets (both the 3DS game, and the arcade version require the use of a Japan-only series of trading cards, and data in one version can be transferred to the other, and vice versa), so I'd be highly surprised to see it come west.
As for Chocobo Racing 3D? Since there hasn't been mention of it since that initial E3, and since SE has since released & announced many other titles, I'm assuming it's been scrapped (hope I'm wrong, though).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I figured that Dragon Ball Z won't get an initial release in the West because of the possibility of low sales and that it is an exclusive arcade game to Japan, just like Pokemon Battrio and Treta. Fingers crosseduction and hoping Squire Enix announces Chocobo Racing 2 3D as part of the software line ups.
3DS games:
Mario Kart 7
Zelda OoT 3D
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars
Pokemon Black FC: 2666 2484 8599
Kid Icarus Uprising
Heroes of Ruin
and more.
Crime doesn't pay, unless you are really good at it then those who are legal criminals ...
