Anyone figure out the purpose of the flap at the back of the charging cradle? I see that it can 'open' but I can't figure out why. It doesn't show in the manuals.

Most likely its there so we don't need to take it off the cradle if we forget to put our stylus in.

But you can't access the games or the stylus because the part that flips back has a lip on it. Hmmmm. It's very strange.

A game card will just squeeze out with the flap down. I can only think it will allow the system to charge while still containing an as-yet-unannounced peripheral that goes in the game card slot.
