Topic: Changing nintendo ID on 3ds?

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place.
I have a bit of strange problem. I'm giving my friend my 3ds, which has 2 or 3 titles that I purchased from the nintendo shop. I don't want those purchases to go to waste, so I don't plan on completely erasing the data off of the 3ds. However, I do want her to use her own nintendo ID account. Is it possible to change the nintendo ID (basically, any info linked to me) without deleting the games?

Thanks!

I don't think so, once there is a new NNID created and they go to the eshop it deletes your purchases since it's linked to the NNID but this is based only on my small amount of knowledge. I haven't tested it.

My other Switch is a WiiU.

Nuts. Would I be able to get the games back if I were to log back into my nintendo ID? Or would it be lost forever =/
Im tempted to give it a shot, but I don't want to lose the games.

From what I've heard, the downloads would be lost forever. I haven't tried it, so go ahead if you feel like taking a risk.

Not up for the risk. I guess I shall just see what my friend feels like doing!
Thanks for the help (:

Well, are you getting a new 3DS? Because in that case you just need to perform a system transfer.

I like makin' games!

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to do that. My old 3DS is region locked to the US (hence why I'm giving it to my friend)v and my new one is a PAL system.
