Topic: Casltevania 3DS

I was just thinking about a Castlevania 3DS game. Action would be on the top screen, map on the bottom. If Konami were to revisit Soma Cruz (or remake), the bottom screen would prove for a quick change menu for souls. Post comments on how you think Castlevania 3DS would work.

I'm hoping for a 3D Classic Castlevania.

If they did a Castlevania 3DS I'd like to see it be a complete remake of one of the NES titles. The bottom screen would serve as a map and inventory.

Yeah. A Classic remake hasn't been done since the GBA Nintendo Classics.

I'd love a Castlevania that's like Lament of Innocence. It's the game that got me into CV with Portrait of Ruin sealing my like for the series.

Yeah, that was an underrated PS2 title. 3rd perspective Castlevania games have been hit or miss. That was a good one.

I want a new classic Castlevania on the 3DS or WiiU, preferably WiiU. I love the newer exploration types, but I want something different this time. I don't want a remake either. I don't like the idea of 3D Castlevanias. When I think of Castlevania, I don't think of a 3D game.

Whole series seems to be as much in limbo as Mega Man. Since "rebooting" Castlevania with Lords of Shadow, Konami can't seem to decide what to do with the series beyond DLC for it and Harmony of Despair. Been no whisper of a new Castlevania game in ages, when it was a regular thing before. So, at least by appearance, Konami painted themselves into a corner as the series goes and can't figure out what to do now. This is what happens when you try to fix, or REBOOT something that isn't broken. Sucks to be a fan of: Castlevania, Konami, Mega Man, Capcom, Final Fantasy, Nintendo... Heck it just sucks to be a fan of video games right now, to be honest.

Give me a 3D classics of the original Castlevania or Super Castlevania, that's all I would need.
