I think it's the amount of time they had to make this one. I'm not really sure of the details on that, but I know they've done all they could. I just hope they're not lying about the voices being improved from what we heard in the trailers...
They could of released it with the others you know and street fight came out nicely, There was an melee game that was successfully made for DS called Jump All Stars...If only they brought it over into america. Well its close to the top of my import list.
Yeah, I know about the two Jump games. They had a large lineup, but that's probably because the game used pixel art.
CN:PTE for 3DS probably just had a smaller budget or something. Right now I think they're polishing the game up for it's release, and that's why it's not out yet. They'll want it to be as well received as possible.
The thing I'm really liking about this game is how much the company is taking advice and input from people following it on Facebook and working hard on incorporating ideas into the console games. I always like it when game makers do that. I always think the best way to make a game the consumers will enjoy is to ask the consumers what they want from the game.

i have been following this game for a while and it can turn out to be a great game. It seems they are really thinking on the roster (Captain planet was a random but great addition). For some reason it remains me of a TMNT game for the wii, the builiding stage is really similar to one stage that game had. The TMNT game was good but the roster ruined it for me. I think this game will depend on gameplay, I'm liking the characters so far. = )
I think Captain Planet may have been added either as a homage to Ted Turner, or to promote the upcoming movie. If we can get more Turner originals, i'd like to see the characters from 2 Stupid Dogs and Swat Kats appear. Maybe they could even use Toonami's TOM (like they did in FusionnFall). And if they have George Lowe, then why not Space Ghost?
I think the polygonal video game art work in the trailers completely dissolves the quirky, character-ful animation of the actaul tv series cartoons imho. That especially is true of Sumarai Jack
"They say video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock n' roll."
I'm still at a loss on why they could morph two very different characters, Billy and Mandy, into one playable character but they couldn't do the same with the Powerpuff Girls who are very similar.

All the morphed characters are in pairs of two. They probably thought putting the 3 characters together would get annoying to control.
Oh.. Do you think it's worth getting? I am choosing between this or Street Fighter. I loved Cartoon Network when I was 10, and I love the Smash Bros games. I also like Mortal Kombat, and the gameplay between Street Fighter and MK is very alike.
I honestly thought it was worth it....but apparently it didn't last that long for me. So, you're probably better off nabbing another game. I'm no Street Fighter fan, but I'm assuming its a hell of a lot better than this. xD
