Whoever he is, fire him and hire me as Capcom's new CEO, I know what fans want. First thing I'd do is secure rights from Disney and re-release Duck Tales on Wii Virtual Console... then I'll update Duck Tales in 3D and release it on 3DS... and then for 360/PS3/Vita and Steam, bam, completely hand drawn Duck Tales in HD. Did I mention leaderboards? No, well then Leaderboards! ...then when we have some steady cashflow coming in from all this greatness, kick in the free DLC that allows you to convert money you've acquired in various Duck Tales games and allow you to spend them in the new Capcom Duck Tales cross platform MMORPG...then we put our own games into that RPG, like...Mega Man and Street Fighter...and Resident Evil, but we make them Duck Tales themed games instead like... Gizmo Duck and Scrooge Fighter ...and Residuck Evil. We then take all the proceeds from this and we throw lots of money at Kenji Inafune and invite him back to make Mega Man the way he wants it, then...when it fails to meet everyone's expectations, everyone will hate on him instead of Capcom and we'll all live happily ever after with a bunch of great Duck Tales sequels in the pipeline in standard Capcom fashion.

again, compared to major western RPGs or "trying to be western RPG" Xenoblade, I don't see the point.

Xenoblade was trying to be western. And here I thought it was just a open world JRPG.

Isn't dragon's dogma just Monster Hunter with a European motif.

Capcom burned down those bridges with the Megaman fiasco. They may be able to rebuild them, but they'll just end up burning them down again.

Huh? I always thought Dragon's Dogma was a re-imagining of the Breath of Fire series.

I still like Capcom. Though, not a huge fan of Street Fighter... Capcom doesn't really have many IPs, or at least some IPs aren't really known all that well.

I for one want Viewtiful Joe 3. I sometimes forget Capcom owns VJ... Least he's in the recent VS. games.. But I'm craving for another VJ game. It's been too long. It'd be awesome if it were brought to 3DS- especially the 3 being a tie-in with 3D effects. Could be based off the whole 3D movie craze.

until they wow us with something new and exciting, capcom's fanbase will go down even further. i want the capcom i loved back in the 90s , not this current capcom.

i think viewtiful joe is a great character. and a viewtiful joe game on the 3ds would be terrific.

You're incorrectly assuming Street Fighter and Resident Evil was crap to begin with.

Love the humor in that game, as cheesy it gets sometimes (looks intentional). Capcom also has Zack & Wiki to play with too.

Megaman has been replaced in the Capcom Big three. These days its Street Fighter,Resident Evil, and Monster Hunter.

Exactly. Capcom's focusing on new IPs right now, leaving the less profitable older ones to rot. Good for making money, bad for pleasing fans.
