Hi everyone. I just bought a New 3ds XL in Malta, but I can't access the friends list. When I click on the icon, it says "this service is not available in your region". Surely that can't be right? Is there anything I can do to access the friend list?
Eh, I'm guessing you should google search your country's Nintendo services and see what others in your region have to say about it. I would think that anywhere you have internet you can friend someone else in your region but then again, I'm not sure what region you fall in to.

I'm in Malta, so the console is in the Europe region. The funny thing is, I can access the friends list on my normal 3DS which I bought in the UK, but not the New 3DS, because "it's not available in my region". That seems really odd. It can't be blocked on the New 3DS can it? I think I will try to return it.
It turns out it was because my region was Malta. Nintendo don't let Maltese people have friends apparently. I switched it to UK and everything works fine.
