2NintendoPeteMon 7th Nov 2016 I can't see why it shouldn't work. But, I would never go from N3DS to 2DS - so that has never been an issue. NintendoPete
3Eel Mon 7th Nov 2016 No, you can't do a system transfer from a "new" system to any older model. Edited on Mon 7th November, 2016 @ 05:20 by Eel Bloop. <My slightly less dead youtube channel> SMM2 Maker ID: 69R-F81-NLG My Nintendo: Abgarok | Nintendo Network ID: Abgarok
4ianl579Tue 8th Nov 2016 Couldn't you just save all your 3DS data on an SD card and put it in the 2DS? "You feel it? Fawful is also feeling it! I am needing to feel it even more, though!" - The magnificent Fawful
5Eel Tue 8th Nov 2016 ...No, that will only work for photos and music. Everything else will be completely ignored by the 2ds. That if it doesn't try to format it.
