I doubt it. If the GBA games went public, Ambassadors would blow their lid.

Why? We (ambassadors) are getting them for free. Why would anyone who got the games for free be bothered that they would then later be available for other people to buy?

Because it would be less special / exclusive? Idk. You raise a good point!

If I was given a choice between, SM3DL and MK7 (Both would total at around 90$) or 10 NES and 10 GBA games, I'd opt for the SM3DL and MK7. You could nearly buy both for 80$

Point is, the people who bought the 3DS at a discounted price, will now be able to pick and choose what it is they want, and still have enough money to get MK7 (Or whatever retail game they want)

I guarantee The Minish Cap will be an Ambassador game. However, these claims are either not true or are just speculation, because Nintendo hasn't announced the games yet. And I doubt WarioWare Twisted would be on that list because Nintendo is probably too lazy to update them for the gyroscope.

So... You're mad that you got 20 free games, because now you can't choose which games you want. Or something?

I'm saying I would have prefered to get the new shiny Mario games that will be coming soon, as opposed to 10 NES and 10 GBA games.
I'm not mad be any means. But if the GBA games become available to the public I will be. Because then the whole "Ambassador" Scheme will be pointless.

@Tare I'd love the GBA games to go public, because that would mean new GBA releases for VC. I mean, they're nor going to put EVERY great GBA game in the Ambassador program (there are a lot of them), so that way we could get all of the great games.

That would be cool, if they released other great GBA games. But I feeel like we won't see any for a year or two.
It seems logical to sell the GB games until they stop selling, then the GBC games until they stop selling, then finally the GBA games.

Pointless how? You're not making any sense. You still get/got them FOR FREE. Is your point that "well, if they're later available to buy, then i'd rather i'd have gotten something different for free instead"? Seriously, i'm completely missing the logic here.

The "I would have rather gotten something instead" bit. I suppose I don't think that 20 free games (Only 5-6 of which most people will keep playing) justifies 80$.

The inclusion of Emerald and another Warioware game makes this list look pretty sus. You'd think that they wouldn't have two Warioware titles especially when twisted would be more effort than your average GBA game. Also the Pokemon games are fairly useless without multiplayer....... and if they WERE doing Pokemon games you'd expect to see Ruby/Sapphire first

Also bubbab, what do you mean? You aren't allowed to play Pokemon?

He means his parents won't let him play pokemon because they think it's "evil". My parents are the same way but thankfully, I'm in college now.

I always thought the anti-Pokemon thing was pretty hillarious. If it was about animal cruelty then I'd get it (as long as they're equally against Mario's turtle stomping) but no, it was about the evolution.

...... because Pokemon shows "evolution" in a way that, if anything, promotes an overly simplified and incorrect version of "evolution" that resembles very closely the "evolution" that intelligent design people tend to ridicule rather than the continuous, directionless, slow version of evolution that is what actually happens. Not only that but most of the games are based around the idea of a god Pokemon having created the world and how those greedy evil scientists are trying to destroy everything. Using their genetic engineering and huge electrical god catching machines.

If anything the religious peoples should at most only be getting angry about the games, movies and whatever that show secular worlds that are highly advanced and ridiculously civilized.

Buying technology near release is a risk. It always has been. People who bought it that soon should have realized that the price was subject to change eventually. It was sooner than expected, yes, but they are even giving you all of these games to make up for it. You still bought it for the amount you thought you had to pay, and you get free games out of it. I'd say it's a win-win scenario.

As for Emerald, the game was still 30 bucks used at GameStop. Why would people complain about that value?

Nintendo - Where even first person shooters ooze creativity.

you do realize they didn't HAVE to give you anything. you should be grateful ambassadors got anything at all instead of complaining about what you did get. When somebody gives you a free gumball, do you complain because its not your favorite color? no, you take the gumball and enjoy it!

A bit off topic-ish (apparently) but really the only games conservative, censorship loving parents should be freaked out about is Conway's Game of Life......

I think it's pointless to argue with Tare, he's just trying finding something negative to say about... Free stuff... isdgi D:
