Zelda is a must. I'll check out Heroes of Ruin as well. Also, when does Fire Emblem Awakening release? Anyone know right off hand?

Oh I am. I don't like the glossy...ness of the 3DS. XL is a must.

I wasn't a fan of Heroes of Ruin, it just seemed a bit repetitive and grind-y with little incentive to continue getting better gear. I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Kid Icarus, even if it's closer to adventure/shooter than RPG.

Me neither! I had a blue 3DS. Never liked the design. And i had to put a piece of foam between it, to avoid scratches. Now i got an XL, and i am loving it! The screens are right big enough to play Virtual Console games. It's also rounder and matt design.

I'm mainly buying one for the pokemon games and a couple other little random RPG type games. Fire Emblem can't come soon enough as well.

I never played one Pokemon game in my life. I want to buy Unchaned Blades on the 3DS, but i have no idea when the game arrives in Holland in the Eshop. There are no good JRPG's here atm for 3DS. So i think i will try (buy) Pokemon White 2, despite the pixelated graphics. Do u think as a Dragon Quest fan, i will like it?

The reason I love Pokemon is because I enjoy building a team that works well together to chain together good combos in battle. I'm kind of a pvp nut so making a good Pokemon team and playing other people is big for me. I'm sure you'll enjoy it just fine once you get the ball rolling. I love Dragon Quest as well. Is the one for the DS good?

Fire Emblem Awakening is coming Feb. 4th according to my preorder, and a Dragon Quest VII remake is coming to 3DS (eventually).

Samurai Warrior Chronicles is a fantastic game that you should be able to get cheap now. It has Lv up and stat rpg elements. It also has a great story.

Get Kid Icaurs: Uprising, play it all day, play it all month, have tons of fun.

Um, Why has no one mentioned Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance or Tales of the Abyss yet!?! (Both which happen to be types of RPGs, and two of the best games on the 3DS, IMO).
