Topic: Button Doesn't Work Anymore

The R button on my 3DS has recently stopped working. Does anybody know of a way to possibly fix it that doesn't require a lot of technical know-how, since I don't have any? It's an original model that I have had since about a week after launch, so I'm sure it's just old and worn-out and obviously isn't under warranty, but I am hoping to be able to fix it, especially since the Switch does not appear to be a suitable successor for it. Thanks for any help.

When did you last clean it? I recommend canned air.

So I read somewhere else that you can blow on it, kind of like a throwback to the NES days, but it isn't a permanent fix. Sure enough, it worked, but next time I tried to play it was broken again. So I bought some canned air, took the back off, and blew it all over the place for a couple of minutes. Still didn't work. I blew on it with my mouth for about five seconds and it worked perfectly. I'm sure it will stop working again soon, but it's just funny that that worked much better than the canned air. Oh, well. Is there anything else I can do? I got the back off so I could see the battery, but there is still kind of another back hiding the inner workings that I couldn't get off. Do I have to get that off somehow, and how? The screws on there were too small.

@gcunit Cool. Thanks for that. So basically I do have to take that second back off and probably need an even smaller screwdriver than I have. I'm not sure it's worth it, as it also seemed incredibly easy to screw it up with all the small pieces. Thanks, though.
