Topic: Bundled game?

It's a shame that we've passed the glorious days of the Sega-Nintendo feud where companies packed in their biggest system seller to increase hardware sales.

I'm guessing a couple preloaded demos are in store to show off what the system can do, 3DS store points, and/or possibly Pilot Wings Resort. I'm leaning towards some demos though, since it's basically free advertising for Nintendo, and you'll be able to see what 3D can really do. Another option might be some 3D movie to plug whatever movie service Ninty ends up providing for the 3DS. This thing's gonna sell without a bundled game. They're also really pushing the online features, so hopefully people will have motivation to get online without free points. That's why my vote is for demos, so people can see how awesome 3D is AND show their friends and families how awesome it is.

and who decides what is 'suitable for females' and 'not violent'? i'm sorry, but this is the biggest load of BS i've heard today.

Guys aren't meant to be violent either. And I thought you just said you like Call of Duty. IMO shoot 'em up games are for anyone...as long as they're old enough. I agree @theblackdragon

No, I mean that's what I think Nintendo would actually do. I wouldn't be opposed to demos though.

When I said certain games shouldn't be bundled with certain colors, I meant the if Nintendo bundles a game with the 3DS, it will be the same for every color. Surely, Nintendo wouldn't make different bundles for all those games at launch, it would be too costly and they couldn't possibly get enough shelf space for all of those bundles. Imagine having 21 different bundles for the same system in one store (7 games X 3 colors = 21 bundles). Besides, Nintendo wouldn't want to bundle a game with a system when the game would already sell well, as others have pointed out. If they want to make it so you can choose a game when you purchase a 3DS, they will offer a discount for a game, but that's not very likely either.

I'd love to see it bundled with Steel Diver or Pilotwings. Of the games Nintendo has shown they seem most likely to be included. I think I'd honestly prefer a cartridge including demos of upcoming games similar to what Sony used to do with PlayStation Magazine (I think it was PSM, anyways >_>).

Also, I just can't believe how astoundingly sexist you're being right here. It appalls me that anyone would say such a thing. Any form of media can be enjoyed by any person with interest regardless of sex. I hope that you can one day understand that and stop being so close-minded.

Remember people have there own opnions. I don't have a problem with anyone playing does types of games, I am not allowed to play does games unless I'm at my friends house and I'm playing shot'em up games without my parents knowledge.

@JadeGirl: whether you want to keep believing that way is your own business, and we don't care how protective your parents are and whether or not you're allowed to date, but the belief that certain things are or should only be for certain genders is sexist. overcompensating for how you feel you behaved when you were younger or not, the idea that girls should only play non-violent games or games someone else deems 'suitable' is bull. we have every right to play any game a male can play, gender be damned.

I completely agree with theblackdragon. In fact, my girlfriend has been on a rampage through all the Resident Evil games, Bayonetta and both Dead Space games.

If I offended you JadeGirl, l apologize. I just believe that forcing your opinions as a fact is a terrible thing to do. Opinions will always be just that, opinions. Also, despite what you may think, saying a gender can or can't do something (regardless of what that activity is) is sexist. I believe strongly in equality between men and women.

On another note, I really hate feminist activists who want equal and greater rights than men. It's so childish.

I would want one of the folowing:
1.If you buy the 3DS and return a mario kart game or a game that was remade you get a free copy.
2.On the Release date you get to choose one game
3.It will come with Demo games that you can delete later

Personally, upon launch shouldn't you be able to choose the game you want to be bundled with it...No matter which color you get...if they have anymore than one game, to choose, with bundle?

Girl, we don't have to, have videogames or TV shows, to make us violent...Though no one is to use it as a excuse to be angry or violent, we woman get PMS and some of us can get violent..There is a lack of practice of meekness in modern society whether its among male or female, there is lack of it....Violent videogames don't make people violent, it all depends on age, mental ,maturety , etc...They actually are good stress relievers at times.

Yeah sometimes they do relive stress. In the news they've been saying violent games are a factor in violent children and Teens. Where I live there have been children and teens stealing and killing people, some of them call themselves Grand Deft, after Grand Deft Auto, in Atlanta GA. Anyway back on topic. What about Bundle a SD card with the 3DS?
