@Late: Well I guess I should get on with the first game then. This Fire Emblem and Mario and Luigi are kicking my butt. If I knew then what I know now I would've finished all those games before these all came out.

Does something important story-related happen in the demo? I haven't finished it yet and i don't feel like doing it now when i got the full game. Could anyone be so kind to summarise?
Ordered it today! pretty excited to play it when its here. I even got back to bravely default to get some hype, and let me tell you, its real =] cant wait till the game arrives =]
Can anyone who's played this answer the following:
1) I've heard contradictory statements on how much exploration there is. 1 person has said there's more than the original, another person has said it's the same (not much). Which is true? And is the world any bigger? The first game felt like a very small world that was pretending to be large (e.g only being able to go inside 2 buildings in a "city")
2) Is the story interesting and is there any character development this time?
@DiscoGentleman: I would like to know the same thing. However, I've heard it spoils the first game so I'm going to pass on this demo for now till I play and beat the first game.
If and when I get my code tomorrow if someone wants it just let me know.
