Topic: Blow into your 3DS microphone! :D

If you blow into the 3DS microphone while on the HOME menu, it makes the icons and stuff on the top screen spin around really fast. LOL I wonder how many more weird things there are built into this thing now.

There's something on The Sims 3 where when you blow into the mic, you get these butterflies come out. Also, if you shake the 3DS, you can start an earthquake! Its something linked to SpotPass (I THINK), but I'm can't remember how it all results in these wierd features.

I wonder if something happens if you shake the system, because of it's Gyro-thingie.

When using the 3DS camera, if you blow into your mirophone, random things like confetti will fly everywhere, and you can take pictures with it.

hmm..Nintendo could really expand on this idea

I remember finding out that the Gamecube start up screen would make the sound of a child giggling if you held the Z button while turning it on. Only Nintendo would put neat little easter eggs like this in their systems.

Exaclty how many Easter eggs like the GCN startup thing have we found for Wii? None come to mind immediately.

Well on the Wii news channel there's a little tutorial cat that walks around on the edges of the screen. If you move the finger pointer around the cat chases and bats at it. That's all I really know of though. Also some DS games had certain things they would do when you closed the DS. In one of the Mario and Luigi Rpg games Mario says Bye bye when you close it.
Also In Castlevania portrait of ruin I think it makes the sound of a Coffin closing.

If Nintendo put this type of fun stuff in all their games and systems, it would be great!

@Corbs - have you tried out the graffiti mode yet in the AR games? You need to play the Shooting and Billiards game to unlock it, but it is amazing.
