OR.... suddenly the single player mode has samus as your main character, and the galatic federation is solely for multiplayer gamemodes? They could show more of samus's connection to the galactic federation with this game. How she suddenly got so involved with them to the point of leading them to war with pirates and winning.
Also I have high hopes for the amiibos to somehow play into this game. (Even tho I own none).
One of my lads also brought up this interesting idea... that during this game, samus is in the coma from the dark samus encounter in the beginning of prime, when the federation troops have improved PED technology to actually be useful. (Since they die to ing and pirates everyday..)
I feel as if the backlash against Federation Force is partially due to it coming out in a time when it has been five years since Other M. Had there been Metroid games released in the span of 2011 through 2014 and then have a Wii U Metroid game released alongside Federation Force, then there probably wouldn't be as much backlash against it. It's like with Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts where it was released eight years after Banjo-Tooie. More backlash was met with people wanting a proper game after waiting so long than on the quality of the game itself.
It's sad how amazing Hunters look for a launch DS game and it's only barely uglier than this 2015 3DS game.
The director said the reason it's chibi is because the screen is too small or something? Which is the dumbest thing I've heard today considering Hunters retains the more mature look of the Prime games on much MUCH inferior and tinier hardware.
