Topic: Big announcement next-month, so Ono says.

Yoshinori Ono brought up how SFxTekken should happen on 3DS. Now, he says there's a big announcement coming for the 3DS next month. There are 3 possibilities:

Nintendo vs Capcom
SFxTekken
Monster Hunter

What?! Monster Hunter?!

Yes. According to Nintendo3DSblogs, there was supposed to be a Monster Hunter Festa event but was postponed due to the terrible earthquake that had happened and has been moved to next month. Put two and two together, and you get Monster Hunter 3DS. It's only a rumor, but it sure is a possibility.

But I'll love to see all those 3 happen on 3DS

EVEN though, I typed in "According to Nintendo3DSblogs, which is a simple Google search away, let alone sourced.

But whatever. I'm agitated and should not take it out on anyone here. Being sick sucks.

Anyhow, I'm hoping it Monster Hunter, but also Nintendo vs. Capcom. The latter is a stretch though.

at this point it would be a great idea. with street pass and the touch screen, and 3D ovcorse. but i have a feeling with all the 3DS's wireless support it would be pointless to turn back to sony now. after all the 3DS is the better handheld as far as online play is concerned

I'd hope for a "VS Capcom" 3DS exclusive or Monster Hunter.

I honestly hope it's none of the above. Or at least SF vs. Tekken.

Compared to the NGP...?

It's too early to tell if it will be better. I don't even think the NGP is due this year. Man, i don't even think the NGP is it's real name. Like how Natal became Kinect.

Well the title is tentative. And yes, I'm pretty sure we have no idea how the online will work. So the claim I quoted can't really be made.

as of now we know little about npg's online except for the fact that it will have some kind of live community simular to the 3DS. but you will still have the same old trophes and such as any other sony game system. and if you think playstation home on NPG will be superior to 3DS online then i dont know if you think that is what exactly a gaming community should be. if you think it is tougth luck because home is just a waste of hardrive space

Too early is right, though it apparently is due this year. I dunno about the name, though. That'd be weird if it were named 'The Next Generation Portable.' I doubt they'll keep it, but who knows.

Part of me wants to disagree, but at the end of the day you're probably right. I could never see the appeal of Home. At least the Miis are cute. The Home Avatars creep me out.
