hello everyone i wondered if someone could help does anybody know whats happened to the batman 3ds game i noticed its no longer in the coming soon list has it been cancelled

Well, I'm not Matt, but I can't really help you anyway. I never knew there was a Batman 3DS game in the first place. I'd be shocked if there wasn't one eventually, though, but until there's news, there's no news, so it's probably best to just wait and see and enjoy some likely better games in the interim, while you're at it.

Hm, never heard about a Batman game coming to 3DS. I mean, at the E3 2010 conference there was the Batman signa with WB in it I believe.

There are lots of games in development that absolutely no one knows about. So, until then, you're just going to have to wait until a proper announcement is made, as mentioned above.

thanks for that maybe in the future the game was on the coming soon list on this site and now its gone but i just wanted to know why hopefully something next year as i really enjoy batman movies games and with assassins creed gone ive lost 1 game so fingers crossed

Crap another sucky bat series. After seeing art for what got passed on for this im sad.

Hope fully its a akyam game but with less innapropriate things like suggestive themes its bat man a kid hero and they screwed a great game up with innapropriate junl but no i dought its been canceled

I know right? I totally hate the Arkham Asylum games because they are botched up morally. The games had potential but they just had to go and ruin as you said with 'inappropriate things' and that is only putting it mildly.

Anyway, the new Batman show Beware The Batman might look strange in that concept art but I'm not one to judge something without watching it. I'll watch and then decide if it is worthy or not. I didn't like 'Transformers Prime' originally but now I love it.

Iv only Played the demo for asylim but the girl Harley Quin was just nastywith her outfit talk about un neccacery add ons but its an amazing game but noo they had to screw it up with nasty images and language

Plus i think the comics arent they dirtier than the games

I've read Batman comics that were quite descent. I'm enjoying some of the New 52 Batman Comics but I do agree with the outcry from outraged woman regarding the indignity of the sexual behavior and depiction of Catwoman and Starfire as I do admit it's more of pleasure service for male readers instead of cultural liberation for female readers. Anyway, I prefer Batgirl comics however as I've seriously been reading more of them than Batman lately. My favorite Batgirl comic is the one in which she meets this wizard or warlock youth from Salem.

series? Dang it man, just re-unite Batman the Animated Series writers and animators already. Heck, I'd even be fine with another kiddy action based cartoon like "the Batman" than this trash. Damn.

And obviously Arkham Asylum was not meant for twelve year olds. Batman has been censored to death for TV, we don't need him to be censored for video games too.

The ignorance of the Batman comics displayed in this thread makes me a sad, sad panda. If you think Batman is intended as solely a "hero for kids", you have clearly missed quite a bit. I mean, for goodness sake, the character is a multi-millionaire who was basically driven insane by witnessing his parents murder to the point where he feels the need to spend his nights dressed in a costume beating people to a pulp. Arkham Asylum is the most accurate portrayal of Batman and the Bat-verse as it currently is and has been for many years now.

If you're looking for a more "kid-friendly" hero, stick with Superman, or any other number of other heroes.

Batman isnt my favorite hero but the games dont need all the sexual content if it didnt the creators could actually earn a bit more money cause parents mite let some kids play it and more money means more games usually

M-rated games are rated M for a reason. They should not need to be watered-down because some kids cannot wait to grow up. While we're at it, why don't we make horror movies take out all the nudity and blood — oh wait ... /me looks at loads of tremendously watered-down PG-13 rated modern horror movies ...

And Arkham Asylum made crazy amounts of money. I don't think they're all that concerned with making sure that some kids can play it. That's what titles like Brave and the Bold and the like are for.

Man I get tired of Hearing this **** on the Batforums on CBR all the time. Batman can work in any situation proven by the Original Bob Kane pulp comics, to the kooky silver age batman from the 70s. He can Literally work in any situation and is the most versatile character under the pen of a great writer (Miller,Morrison, and Snyder come to mind)

And Honestly if the Arkham games were "the accurate portrayal" then Dick would be Batman while Damien would be Robin. Bruce would be around the word recruiting members for Batman Inc and whatnot..
