I'm with all you saying $50 is too much. For SMTIV I felt it was worth it, but considering how many sales Atlus has on the eShop this game will be $20 within 1/2 a year. I love Atlus and get darn near every one of their games, but I'm not paying $50 for a 3ds game

As for Theathrythm, I just... already have the first game. I don't really feel a need to get another one, unless it is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the first.

I've never played a Persona game, and I don't have much interest in Persona Q, but I want that special edition so bad.

I don't even mind that it doesn't come with the game. That thing is beautiful! I'll never be able to get it, though. ;_;

Atlus is now dead to me. RIP, we had a good run. May you frolic with Bioware in gaming heaven. I'll admit I feel a little guilty about moving on so quickly to Monolith...but I realize now our relationship was over with Persona 4...and I was already cheating on you with Xenoblade Chronicles and Baten Kaitos Origins at the time...don't haunt me T_T

Nintendo's timing with the new 3ds announcement was poor in my opinion. It hurts both this limited edition and the others they intend to try to sell. Anyone who is in the know will hold off and those not in the know wouldn't want the Persona Q one anyways. Especially with no game!

My booty's still in the mail, but I guess if I had to post something constructive, the reviews have been pretty spiffy so far. That 87 ranks #14 all-time for 3DS, #13 if you count Pokemon X/Y as one game and #8 if you only count retail games. 2nd highest 3rd party retail game after Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward.

Even though I'm not getting this day one I still like to know what you guys think of it. The first 3ds Atlus game other then CoP I didn't day one.

Picked up the digital version ahead of receiving the collector's edition in the mail, and had a chance to play about 30 minutes. Not enough to form a real opinion yet, but from what I can see, this isn't just some cheap spin-off. It's had a lot of work put into the presentation. I'm expecting a fully-fleshed game with a compelling story and deep, yet accessible combat system, what I've come to expect from any Atlus title.
